A book cover design and promotion campaign for a novel centered around human aspiration and self-actualization, set within a whimsical yet sophisticated fantasy narrative. The prominence of birds in flight and a simple color palette reminiscent of the sky are meant to invoke feelings of aspiration and weightlessness. This project is an expansion of a three-part, 2-color poster series.

Design work for Eden Avenue (2026), directed by Jenine Dalusong. A short film focused on themes of identity and expression, highlighting the meaning of art in the 21st century. Scope of work included a title card, 18x24 poster, and visual identity to be implemented across printed fundraising brochures and web & social media graphics.
With its catchy tunes, powerful vocals, and incredible layering of sounds, The Home Team’s album Slow Bloom was born from the band’s struggles in the music industry and their decision to “just make the music [they] wanna make and not care what people think of it.” I interpret the name Slow Bloom as an act of resilience: learning to grow from failure, taking your time to grow into your strengths to become something true to yourself, even if it doesn't conform to society's expectations.
I aim to capture the album’s energetic, moody sound through striking colors and the visuals of blooming flowers—the unusual yet beautiful chrysanthemum—breaking through boundaries and taking up space. Collateral deliverables include a set of drink coasters in reference to one of the songs’ lines (”Take a seat, have a drink, get comfortable”), a floral patterned collared shirt in reference to a similar style worn by the band members, and an enamel pin that offers unique flair.
Tara! is a beverage brand for all ages with flavors inspired by classic Filipino desserts. The name Tara means “let's go,” representing an invitation to grab a bottle and enjoy a cold, sweet drink made in the Philippines. Because this drink brand is meant to be fun and expressive, I conveyed this through simple yet stylized illustrations of each flavor, set against an expressive background pattern.
A poster campaign inspired by the bold, abstract, and modular aesthetics found in urban street fashion and design, a popular aesthetic among alternative teens and young adults. This campaign aims to appeal to a young voter demographic, bringing awareness about election details, the importance of their participation as voters, and encouraging them to vote for their future.
An illustration class project based on a Portland Mercury article about a Filipino food month called “Sobrang Sarap,” or “very delicious.” I chose to illustrate this article as an opportunity to highlight aspects of Filipino culture that exist in Portland in a fun, lively way, and invite viewers to pick up a copy and learn more.
To go with the cover is a lively spot illustration of a glass of calamansi juice, a refreshing drink similar to lemonade and a popular pairing with Filipino cuisine.
